Sri-Lanka Pakistan ties

In the past, Pakistan assisted the Government of Sri-Lanka in supplying High Tech military equipment to the Sri Lanka army in the civil war against the Liberation Tiger of Tamil Eelam.

Sri lanka has supported international cricket in Pakistan.

Imran Khan is scheduled meet Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, PM Mahinda Rajapaksa and foreign minister Dinesh Gunawardena during the two-day visit starting Feb 22.

Sri Lankan government give the honor to Imran khan that they address the Sri Lankan parliament.

Last week, Imran Khan had Accept Sri Lanka’s assurance regarding allowing the burial of Muslim coronavirus victims instead of the forcible cremation of their bodies.

Officials said, Covid-19-related restrictions as the reason for the move, though people familiar with developments in Colombo said on condition of anonymity that the Sri Lankan government had done a re-think following discussions on the implications of Imran Khan raising the Kashmir issue in his speech.

Matter

How India know that Imran khan raise the Kashmir issue in the Lankan parliament, After remove article 370 in Kashmir Pakistan made the official policy that where they get stage for speech always raise the Kashmir issue and said that their people are being suffered and etc etc... 

For that "maybe" Sri Lankan Government have pressured unofficially from India! that not to address Imran khan on Lankan parliament maybe that particular reason Lankan government cancel the Imran khan parliament address.
